Three charged over Hove post office robbery

Three men have been charged with conspiring to commit robbery after a post office in Sussex was targeted.

A cash box was grabbed from a security guard in the robbery at the Portland Road post office in Hove at about 1025 GMT on 1 March.

The guard suffered minor injures when he struggled to hold onto the box.

Two 21-year-old men and an 18-year-old were remanded in custody by Brighton magistrates and are expected to appear at Lewes Crown Court on 20 May.
