A fourth man has been charged with the murder of a man whose body was found in an empty Brighton house.

Craig Palmer's body was discovered in a top-floor room of a four-storey house in Russell Square on 15 January.

Sussex Police said Ireneusz Malesza, 22, of no fixed address, had been charged with murder and was due before Brighton magistrates later.

A post-mortem examination suggested the 33-year-old died from head injuries. No weapons are believed to have been used.

John Battams, 40, Mike Zur, 28, and Bartlomiej Szostek, 27, all of no fixed address, have all been charged with murder and are due to appear before Lewes Crown Court on 8 April.

Mr Palmer was of no fixed address but had been living in the city for a number of years.
