Epsom town centre 'saturated' with pubs

New powers are being considered to limit the number of pubs and clubs in a part of Surrey.

Epsom and Ewell Borough Council is carrying out a consultation to combat alcohol-related disorder in Epsom town centre.

The council said a "cumulative impact policy" was needed because the town was saturated with pubs and clubs.

The area would cover Epsom High Street, Derby Square, Waterloo Road and Station Approach.

The consultation runs until 4 May.
