A second man has been arrested over the death a pensioner whose body was found on the Goodwood estate.

Brenda James, 78, was found at the woodland site last Thursday following a police search.

Her son, Neale James, 50, from Chichester, has been charged with her murder and is due to appear at Lewes Crown Court on Tuesday.

The second man arrested, a 46-year-old from Ipswich, Suffolk, was taken into custody on Sunday.

A post-mortem examination revealed Mrs James, who lived on Lakeside Caravan Park, in Chichester, died from a "head injury caused by a weapon".

Her daughter, Nichole James, who lives in Sweden, said her mother had been "much loved and admired for her attitude to life".
