A 27-year-old man has denied murdering another man whose body was found at a East Sussex flat.

Christopher Hunnisett, of Chanctonbury Drive, Hastings, is accused of killing Peter Bick in Dorset South Road, Bexhill, on 11 January.

The 57-year-old supermarket worker, who lived alone, died from severe head trauma, according to post-mortem tests.

Mr Hunnisett pleaded not guilty to murder at Lewes Crown Court on Friday and was remanded in custody.

A trial is due to be held on 17 October.
