A reward of £500 has been offered for information about an arson attack at a children's play area in West Sussex.

The playground at Southwater Country Park, near Horsham, was severely damaged in the fire, which broke out at about 0330 BST last Thursday.

Emergency services arriving at the scene found play equipment, which was only installed last year, and the wood chip surface on fire.

The reward is being offered by Horsham District Council, which owns the park.
