Man dies after crash in West Sussex

A 36-year-old man has died following a crash involving three vehicles in West Sussex which also left the driver of another car seriously injured.

The man from Pulborough suffered fatal injuries when his Toyota Rav 4 collided with a Ford Mondeo and an Audi on Bury Hill near Amberley on Wednesday.

He was taken to St Richard's Hospital, Chichester, but died later.

The 49-year-old driver of the Mondeo is being treated at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

Officers said the man driving the Audi was unhurt and have appealed for witnesses to the crash, which happened at about 1735 BST.
