Search continues for body of missing man Gary Hampson

Detectives investigating the disappearance of a Brighton father are concluding their search for his body along the A23 corridor.

Gary Hampson, 42, of Portslade, has not been seen since picking his 10-year-old daughter up from school on 6 January.

Sussex Police said they have five locations left to search and expect to finish on Wednesday.

Daniel Alexander, 61, of no fixed address, has been remanded in custody charged with Mr Hampson's murder.

A second man, Roy Bartup, 57, of Natal Road, Brighton, has been charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

Detectives have been conducting a murder investigation following the discovery of Mr Hampson's blood at the garage where he worked in Brighton.
