Man charged over Hove stab attack

A man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm after a stabbing incident in Hove.

Sussex Police said that Earl Martin, 32, of Salisbury Road, Hove, was due to appear before magistrates in Brighton on Monday.

The victim, a 28-year-old local man, was found in Harmsworth Crescent early on Saturday.

He has had surgery but remains in a critical condition in the Royal Sussex County Hospital with six stab wounds.
