Chichester two-car crash injures seven people

Seven people were injured when two cars collided in West Sussex, police have said.

Officers said a Subaru Impreza collided with an Audi on the Old Broyle Road, near Chichester, at 2220 BST on Sunday.

Sussex Police said the Subaru caught fire and seven people were seriously injured.

Dr Neil Iosson, a doctor with the medical charity Simcas, said the most seriously-injured victims were taken to St Richard's Hospital in Chichester.

Police said the driver of the Subaru, a 30-year-old man from Okehampton in Devon, and a 20-year-old man from Stockbridge in Hampshire, who was a passenger in the car, received life-threatening injuries.
