Man remanded over Hove stabbing attack

A 32-year-old man has been remanded in custody by magistrates after a man was stabbed in Hove.

Earl Martin, of Salisbury Road, Hove, appeared before magistrates in Brighton charged with causing grievous bodily harm to a 28-year-old local man.

The victim was found in Harmsworth Crescent early on Saturday with six stab wounds, and remains in a critical condition in hospital.

Mr Martin is due to appear at Lewes Crown Court on 5 August.
