Detectives hunting for a man who raped a 17-year-old girl in Brighton have received a number calls following a televised appealed.

The attack, in Dyke Road on 15 February, was featured on BBC One's Crimewatch programme on Tuesday.

A reconstruction and unreleased CCTV footage was shown during the show in an attempt to jog people's memories.

It showed a man walking along the same road as the victim just a few moments before the attack.

The girl was grabbed from behind and dragged into Dyke Road Park in the early hours.

Sussex Police said the man was described as being in his 30s, olive skinned, of stocky build with short dark hair and sideburns.

He was wearing jeans, a dark jacket and trainers and may have been wearing a hat.
