Three arrested over Hailsham stab attack

Three people have been arrested in connection with a stabbing in East Sussex.

Officers said a 42-year-old man suffered stab wounds to his arm and back at a property in Diplocks Walk, Hailsham.

Sussex Police said two men, aged 57 and 26, and a woman, aged 49, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

Det Insp Rob Morland, of Sussex Police, said the people involved were known to each other.

He appealed for witnesses to the incident, which happened in the early hours of Friday.

Mr Morland said the victim was in a stable condition at Eastbourne District General Hospital.
