Gatwick collision: Bus driver cut free

The driver of a bus has been cut free from his vehicle after it collided with a tanker near Gatwick Airport.

The accident happened just after 0600 BST on the A23 in West Sussex, blocking the Perimeter Road East at the Gatwick Road roundabout.

Police said there were no passengers on board the bus, and the driver had been taken to hospital suffering from minor leg injuries.

The collision involved a non-hazardous tanker.
