Two men die on Sussex beaches at Seaford and Hove

Two men have died within hours of each other along the Sussex coast.

A man in 60s was pulled from the sea at Seaford on Saturday after he was seen to get into difficulties, but he was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.

Later, on the beach at the King's Esplanade in Hove, two off-duty doctors tried but failed to revive a man in his 50s who had stopped breathing.

Their deaths follow those of two men at Brighton last weekend, whose bodies were brought ashore at separate times.
