Man injured in head-on collision in East Sussex dies

A man critically injured after a head-on crash in East Sussex that also injured two other people has died.

The high-speed collision between two vehicles happened on the A272, near Buxted, at about 2150 BST on Friday.

The injured man was one of two trapped in one of the cars. He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, where he later died.

The 63-year-old driver of the second car was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
