Hastings cannabis haul: Man charged

A man has been charged in connection with the discovery of a cannabis haul - worth more than £1m - found behind a disused Chinese restaurant in Hastings.

The 57-year-old, of no fixed address, is due to appear in court later charged with being involved in the production of cannabis.

A 68-year-old man, arrested at the scene, was bailed until 19 September.

Police say around 2,000 plants were discovered in a tunnel area behind the restaurant in White Rock.
