Police said an 18-year-old man from Hastings was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill, which the force said was linked to potential disorder.

Officers also arrested a 27-year-old man from St Leonards on suspicion of inciting violent disorder.

Two men from St Leonards who were held on Tuesday have been released.

The arrests follow several nights of riots and looting across England.
