Couple named after Combe Haven fatal caravan fire

A married couple who died in a caravan fire at a holiday park in Hastings have been named by Sussex Police.

Officers said the pair who died at the Combe Haven Holiday Park in Harley Shute Road, St Leonards, were Pauline Thompson, 49, and John Thompson, 50.

Police have said the deaths are not being treated as suspicious. The cause of the fire has yet to be established.

Fire teams were called after a fire broke out on Saturday night. The couple had owned the caravan since 2007.
