Brighton home evacuated after garden shed destroyed

A house in Brighton was evacuated after a suspected arson attack on a neighbouring property.

The occupants were led to safety by firefighters after smoke from a blazing shed and garden play equipment filled their home in Barcombe Road.

The owners of the damaged property were believed to be on holiday when the fire broke out, at about 02:30 BST on Monday.

Firefighters put out the fire, cleared nearby smoke and informed police.
