Man suffers head injuries in unprovoked Hastings attack

A man is in hospital with serious head injuries after an unprovoked attack by a group of men in Hastings.

The 31-year-old was confronted by five young men as he walked in Queens Road around 03:30 BST, on Saturday.

Police say the man is in a stable condition with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries after being badly beaten about the body and head.

They want to hear from witnesses or anyone who know the men responsible, who escaped towards Stonefield Place.
