Faygate hedgerow accident driver named as Terab Ali

A driver who died when his car left the road and ploughed into a hedgerow in West Sussex has been named by police.

Terab Ali, aged 52 and from Horsham, died at the scene of the accident on the A264 at Faygate on Wednesday.

He was driving a silver Toyota Avensis eastbound when the accident happened. Sussex Police are still appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Mr Ali's 25-year-old male passenger suffered minor injuries and was taken to East Surrey Hospital by ambulance.
