CCTV released after girl sexually assault in Chichester

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace after a 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in a West Sussex.

The girl was attacked as she walked past a group of men sitting on a bench near Market Road in Chichester.

She managed to get away and was then helped by a woman in her 30s, who is asked to contact Sussex Police.

Det Sgt Russell Burgess said: "We are very keen to identify the helpful woman who came to the aid of the teenager."

He added: "We believe the suspect may be a street drinker in the area and we have released CCTV of a man we want to speak to."
