German pupils robbed by knifemen in Eastbourne

Two 14-year-old German students have been robbed at knifepoint by two men in an East Sussex town.

Sussex Police said the boys were approached at about 23:20 BST on Wednesday in an alleyway which leads to Lottbridge Drive in Eastbourne.

The suspects, who were wearing scarves to conceal their faces, took the boys' phones, cameras and sunglasses.

Police said the boys, who were studying in the town a language course, were left "very shaken" but unharmed.
