Surrey woman in Alzheimer's disease charity walk
A Surrey woman whose husband has Alzheimer's disease plans to walk more than 100 miles (160km) across the South Downs to raise money for charity.
Carol Franklin-Adams, of Ewhurst, 67, will be joined by friends for the eight-day walk from Winchester in Hampshire to Eastbourne in East Sussex.
Her husband, Patrick, was diagnosed with the disease seven years ago at the age of 59.
Mrs Franklin-Adams said: "I've never done anything like this before."
