Earl Martin on trial over Hove stabbing attack

A 32-year-old man has been cleared of stabbing another man in Sussex.

Earl Martin, of Salisbury Road, Hove, was accused of causing grievous bodily harm to a 28-year-old local man.

The man was found in Harmsworth Crescent, Hove, on 21 May by police officers, who said he was "bleeding profusely" from six stab wounds.

Mr Martin, who had denied charges of grievous bodily harm, was found not guilty by a jury at Lewes Crown Court on Friday.
