Sussex Police arrest two over Kemp Town beach attack

Two men have been arrested after a man was hit on the head with a bottle several times until it smashed.

Sussex Police said the 18-year-old victim was attacked on the beach in Kemp Town, Brighton, in the early hours of Saturday.

Officers said he was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with lacerations to the head.

Two London men, aged 18 and 21, have been arrested and bailed on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

Anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact police.
