Man on trial over Bexhill fatal car crash

A man has gone on trial accused of causing the death by dangerous driving of a motorist in East Sussex.

Alexander Burke, 62, of Morgan Close, Bexhill, was killed when his Honda Civic and a Vauxhall Astra collided, in Cooden Drive, Bexhill, on 15 February.

Samuel Squires, 22, of Ninfield Road, Bexhill, denies charges of causing death by dangerous driving and causing death by careless driving.

The jury was sworn in at Lewes Crown Court on Monday.
