Advice for Brighton's homeless women after sex assaults
Police have issued advice to homeless women in Brighton following three sexual assaults in the city.
Three women in the homeless community were assaulted between 19 September and 10 October in Regency Square car park, Pavilion Gardens and East Street.
A 32-year-old man, from Hove, was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on Tuesday and bailed until next week.
Det Insp Jason Tingley praised the victims for coming forward and said they were being offered support.
Nikki Homewood, director of homelessness services at Brighton Housing Trust, said he was "appalled" at the attacks.
"Homeless people are some of the most vulnerable in our society.
"We are working closely with our partner agencies to ensure that the women involved in these recent attacks receive the specialist care and advice they need."
