Samuel Squires jailed over fatal Bexhill collision

A 22-year-old man from East Sussex has been jailed for 12 months after pleading guilty to causing the death of a motorist by careless driving.

Samuel Squires, of Ninfield Road, Bexhill, was also disqualified from driving for three years.

He was found not guilty of causing death by dangerous driving following a trial at Lewes Crown Court.

Alexander Burke, 62, from Bexhill, was killed in February when his car was in a crash in the town.
