Nine charged after man stabbed in St Leonards
Nine people, including two teenagers aged 15 and 16, have appeared in court after a 21-year-old man was stabbed in the chest in East Sussex.
The victim was attacked in Warrior Square, St Leonards, at about 22:30 GMT on 25 November and admitted to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
The 16-year-old, from Hastings, and 15-year-old, from St Leonards, were charged with violent disorder.
Five men aged from 18 to 21 and two 17-year-olds have also been charged.
Two of the men are also charged with violent disorder and four with conspiracy to commit violent disorder.
All the accused appeared before Hastings magistrates on Friday.
Det Insp Mark O'Brien said the police investigation into the serious level of planned disorder was continuing.
