Woman dies after car collides with lorry in East Sussex

An 80-year-old woman has died after the Skoda car she was travelling in was in collision with a lorry in East Sussex.

Dorothy Adams, from Robertsbridge, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on the A2100 London Road, in Mountfield, on Sunday afternoon.

A 79-year-old man driving the car suffered serious internal injuries.

A 57-year-old man from Wales was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and bailed until February pending further inquiries.
