Woman, 21, dies after A27 Worthing road crash

A 21-year-old woman died and a man was left with a serious injuries after two cars crashed in West Sussex.

The woman, from Chichester, was injured when the Ford Ka she was driving was in collision with a BMW on the A27 at Castle Goring, Worthing, on Sunday.

Sussex Police said she was taken to Worthing Hospital but died later.

The driver of the BMW, a 49-year-old man from Bexhill, was also taken to hospital with a serious leg injury. Police have appealed for witnesses.
