Injured man collapses in Bexhill street

A man found collapsed in a street in East Sussex is being treated in hospital for a head injury.

Police said the 30-year-old was seen staggering along Ninfield Road, in Bexhill, before falling onto the pavement at about 15:20 GMT on Tuesday.

He was helped by members of the public, who called an ambulance, and was taken to the Conquest Hospital before being transferred to a neurological unit.

Police are trying to find out what caused his fall and if he was attacked.
