Brother charged with Christmas murder in Littlehampton

A 33-year-old man has been charged with the knife murder of his brother at a party in West Sussex on Christmas Day.

Vaides Juras is accused of stabbing to death Lithuanian national Bronius Juras, 38, of Bayford Road, Littlehampton.

Police were called to an address in Beach Road, Littlehampton, at about 21:00 GMT on Christmas Day.

A post-mortem examination revealed that Mr Juras died of a single stab wound to his heart.

The charged man, of Beach Road, Littlehampton, will appear at Worthing Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

Originally 12 people were arrested in connection with the stabbing.

Sussex Police said three men had been bailed for four weeks while inquiries continue, and eight people had been released without charge.
