Men charged over Brighton post office raid

Two men have been charged with an attempted robbery that was foiled by a 75-year-old man.

Sussex Police said an 18-year-old man and a man, aged 27, were to appear before Brighton Magistrates' Court on Friday.

The charges relate to an incident at the Premier Store Post Office, in Widdicombe Way, Brighton, on Wednesday.

The pair and an 18-year-old man have also been charged with two street robberies in Brighton on Thursday.
