Littlehampton Christmas murder accused at crown court

A man accused of stabbing his brother to death at a party in West Sussex on Christmas Day has appeared at Southwark Crown Court.

Vaides Juras, of Beach Road, Littlehampton, is charged with the murder of Bronius Juras, 38, of Bayford Road, Littlehampton.

On Friday Mr Juras, 33, was remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on 10 February.

Lithuanian national Bronius Juras died of a single stab wound to his heart.

Originally, 12 people were arrested in connection with the stabbing.

Sussex Police said three men had been bailed for four weeks while inquiries continue, and eight people had been released without charge.
