Man cut with flick-knife in Brighton attack

A man was slashed in the chest with a flick-knife in an attack in Sussex.

The attacker approached the man in St Martins Street in Brighton at about 05:30 GMT on Sunday and demanded the victim's mobile phone.

He refused to hand it over and while pushing the attacker away he received a superficial wound to his chest.

Sussex Police said the suspect was described as black, 30-years-old and about 6ft tall. He was wearing a black hooded top.

He was also wearing silver or grey tracksuit bottoms and blue and white Nike trainers.

Police have asked anyone with information to contact them.
