Police drop Hove murder inquiry following post-mortem test

Police are treating the death of a 51-year-old man in Hove as non-suspicious and have released two men who were arrested.

The dead man was found in Brunswick Place at 15:15 GMT on Friday and the 40 and 43-year-old men were arrested in the evening.

Officers began a murder inquiry, but following a post-mortem test, the death is now being treated as non-suspicious.

Both men were released without charge on Saturday.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission had been informed of the death as the police had been in contact with the victim the day before he died.
