Hove flat death man is named as Paul Dowling, 51

A man found dead in a flat in Hove has been named by police.

Paul Dowling, 51, was found at his home in Brunswick Place on Friday. Two men, aged 40 and 43 and of no fixed address, were later arrested.

But the men were later freed without charge after a post-mortem examination revealed the death was not suspicious.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) has been informed after Sussex Police revealed officers had previous contact with the victim.
