Detectives investigating the death of a young father who was stabbed to death in an East Sussex town have made a further arrest.

Sussex Police said the 20-year-old man from Hastings was being questioned on suspicion of murdering Darren Croxton.

Mr Croxton, 25, was found collapsed with serious injuries in Bramble Drive, Hailsham, at 16:30 GMT on Sunday and died on Monday morning.

Police continue to question two teenagers in connection with the death.

An 18-year-old man and a 16-year old boy have been released on bail until 22 February.

Five other teenagers and three men have been released with no further action.

A post-mortem examination found that Mr Croxton, who had a young daughter and lived in Hailsham, died as a result of stab wounds inflicted by a knife.

Police believe he died in what may have been a pre-planned fight in woodland near Bramble Drive.
