Sussex Police: Man held over Brighton robbery and sexual assault

A man has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting and robbing a woman in Brighton.

The woman was thrown to the ground by two men as she walked along Stone Street just before 04:00 BST on Saturday.

Sussex Police said a 42-year-old man was arrested in the Kemp Town area of the city and is being questioned in custody.

Detectives are still trying to trace four men who went to the woman's aid.

During the attack, the woman was sexually assaulted and robbed of cash and a US passport.
