Bexhill street head injuries man named

A 38-year-old man who died after being found with serious head injuries in the road in East Sussex has been named.

James Hall, 38, of Warrior Square, St Leonards was found in Kings Close, Bexhill, in the early hours of Sunday.

He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital and then the Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre at Haywards Heath where he died on Sunday evening.

Sussex Police said his death was not being treated suspicious and the case had been passed to the coroner.

Det Insp Andy Harbour said: "Following witness appeals we have now established that James spoke to a woman outside a house and told her that he had had a fall.

"However, it seems as though he was able to walk away and she thought no more of it."
