Police have released an e-fit image of a man suspected of being part of a gang that tied a woman up during a "harrowing" raid on her Sussex home.

The 61-year-old's hands and feet were tied together by three masked men who broke into her home in Titnore Lane, Worthing, and pulled her out of bed.

They demanded money during the incident on 5 September but left empty-handed.

The suspect was described as a white male in his late 30s, with a round face and white teeth.

Sussex Police said the woman was discovered bound on the floor of her bedroom after neighbours heard her screams.

Det Con Andy Hobden said: "This was a harrowing ordeal for the victim to go through. She was alone in her home and subjected to a frightening ordeal.

"If any recognises the e-fit then contact Sussex Police."
