Lorry driver charged over Arundel crushed car crash

A man has been charged with dangerous driving after the waste lorry he was driving tipped over and crushed a car on the A27 near Arundel.

Two people were in a Citroen Saxo when it collided with a lorry on 6 January.

They were given shelter in a nearby undamaged car but firefighters had to cut the roof off it when the pair complained of neck pains and needed medical help.

The 53-year-old man been bailed until 22 March.
