Burglars steal items worth £140,000 from Horsham home

Thieves took clothes and jewellery worth about £140,000 during a burglary at a house in West Sussex.

Sussex Police said the offenders broke into the home in Rudgwick, near Horsham, by forcing a rear window on Thursday while the family were out.

Det Con Jonathan Stadius said: "Around £140,000 worth of clothes and jewellery, including Rolex watches, were taken from the property."

He appealed for anyone with information about the burglary to contact officers.
