Woman killed crossing Seaford road named as Toni Rolls

An 83-year-old woman who died after she was hit by a car in East Sussex last week has been named as Toni Rolls.

Ms Rolls, of South Coast Road, Telscombe Cliffs, had just got off a bus when she was knocked down as she crossed the A259 in Seaford.

She was treated by paramedics at the scene but died from her injuries.

The 36-year-old driver of the Ford Fiesta involved in last Wednesday's collision was not hurt, police said.
