CCTV issued over wedding rings theft from Hastings shop

Police have issued CCTV images after a wedding ring set worth £1,200 was stolen from a Hastings jewellers when a man pretended he wanted to buy them.

The offender walked into H Samuel, in Priory Meadow, and asked to look at the nine carat white gold and diamond engagement and wedding rings.

After talking to the assistant he took the rings and ran out of the store.

Now police have issued pictures of a man they want to speak to about the robbery on Thursday at 11:45 BST.

Police are urging anyone in the second hand jewellery business to keep an eye out for the rings.
