Man seriously injured in Brighton street stabbing

A man has been attacked and stabbed suffering potentially "life-changing injuries" in the attack, police said.

The 22-year-old was hurt during an incident in Charles Street at about 07:30 BST on Sunday.

The man, who has not been named, is being treated at the Royal Sussex County Hospital for injuries.

A 33-year-old man accused of unlawfully and maliciously wounding another with intent to do grievous bodily harm, is to due before Brighton magistrates.
