Man charged over cyclist's death in Horsham

A man has been charged over the death of a cyclist who was hit by a car in Horsham.

Michael Dixon, 65, was cycling on Kerves Lane, when he was struck by a silver Citroen at 11:00 GMT on Monday.

Mr Dixon, of Trundle Mead, Horsham, died at the scene.

Luigi Dannile, 26, of Broadwater Lane, Copsale, near Horsham, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Crawley Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
